QubKey account
Create or sign in to a QubKey account for sync, sharing, and the web space.
A QubKey account is your single identity to sync your vault, share entries (temporary link or another user), and manage shares from My space on the website.
Without a signed-in account, the vault still works fully offline. An account is required when you enable cloud sync, create a share link from the app, or send an entry to someone.
Sharing prerequisite
To share from an entry, a QubKey account must be signed in. Otherwise the app shows: “Connect a QubKey account in Settings → Account to share entries.”
Create or sign in
Open Settings → Account
Unlock the vault → sidebar Settings → QubKey account section (settings overview).
Sign up or sign in
Enter your email and a password (minimum 8 characters). Choose Sign up for a new account, or Sign in if you already have one.
Register this device
QubKey registers the current device, saves settings, then shows a message like “Your account is set up and ready to sync”. You then see QubKey account connected on this device.
Devices and sign-out
My space (website)
In the browser, My space (/account) is the account hub. Screen details: My space.
There you can, among other things:
- See the dashboard and quick actions
- Manage support, share links, synced vaults
- Control security (sessions) and share preferences
One identity
